St. Pega's, Peakirk
The church of St. Pega is nestled behind yew and cherry trees, just next to the village green. Built in the 11th century, this church is unique in many ways, most notably for its medieval wall paintings, which are of national importance; currently at the heart of a conservation project.
The dedication to St. Pega, the sister of Guthlac is also unique in its own right; being the only church of such dedication in the country.
Beautiful stained glass and panelling make for warm and welcoming surroundings, extended by an enthusiastic group of volunteers and worshippers.

Although the smallest of our five churches, St. Pega's holds a goodly number of services each month, including family worship, all-age Communion and a sung Evensong.
